We are seeking an Order Management and Shipping Lead for our Killarney based manufacturing client.
As the Order Management and Shipping Lea, you will oversee the processes related to order fulfilment, ensuring that customer orders are processed efficiently and shipped accurately and on involves supervising teams, coordinating with various departments, and utilising systems to track orders and shipments.
The Order Management and Shipping Lead will have a background in order management or shipping with good customer service skills to engage with customers and the internal teams.
Candidates must be comfortable with performing the transactional order processing and shipping activities as they will form part of the team capacity.
The role is part of the manufacturing operations team and therefore is a site-based role.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities Order Processing: Managing the entire order lifecycle, from receipt to fulfilment, including order entry, verification, acknowledging through to shipping and of orders in line with procedural requirements.
Shipping Coordination: Overseeing the shipment of goods, ensuring accurate documentation, and coordinating with shipping team and logistics providers.
Team Leadership: Supervising a team of order management and shipping personnel, providing guidance and support.
System Optimisation: Utilising and optimising order management systems and other relevant technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Develop and maintain necessary records and documentation in compliance with ISO system requirements.
Customer Communication: Ensuring timely and accurate communication with customers regarding order status and any potential issues.
Performance Monitoring: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order fulfilment and shipping, identifying areas for improvement.
Problem Solving: Addressing and resolving any issues related to order processing and shipping Other duties as required.

Proficiency in using order management systems Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Process oriented with strong organisational skills Ability to work in fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
Education and Experience Experience in order management and shipping processes.
Qualified to certificate/diploma/degree level in a business discipline or an appropriate combination of qualifications and work experience.
Experience of ERP systems.
Advanced user experience of MS Office.
Working week is 5 days per week, Monday to Friday with normal hours of work 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am to 4pm Friday.
30-minute lunch break daily.
