Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Lead Bar Professional to join our team. As a key member of the bar team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
* Comply with brand standards and embody the hotel's vision
* Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring every guest feels valued and cared for
* Prepare and serve beverages to a high standard, showcasing your expertise in mixology
* Lead and supervise junior bar staff during shifts, fostering a positive and productive work environment
* Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the bar, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations
* Handle cash, process payments accurately, and balance tills at the end of shifts
* Resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally, demonstrating excellent conflict resolution skills
* Collaborate closely with the Bar Manager and hotel food and beverage team to maintain service quality and efficiency
* Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and company policies
Requirements:
* Previous hotel experience is desired but not essential
* Excellent knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and bar operations
* Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and responsibly during late hours
* Flexible, reliable, and calm under pressure
* Fluent English and excellent communication skills
* Micros Experience would be preferable
