Senior Project Manager - 6 month day rate contract Job Description: Our client, a large organisation within the energy sector, is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of corporate business application initiatives, with a focus on change and release management.
Job Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of technical projects across corporate business applications Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and budgets to ensure successful outcomes Oversee change and release management processes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors Drive governance, reporting, and communication across project stakeholders Ensure alignment with organisational standards, policies, and best practices Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and issues throughout the project lifecycle Support continuous improvement initiatives within project delivery and release processes Experience Required Minimum 7+ years experience in technical project management within enterprise environments Proven experience delivering projects involving corporate business applications Strong background in change management and release management processes Experience working in complex, large-scale organisations Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) Desirable Skills Experience within the energy or utilities sector Familiarity with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, or similar platforms Relevant project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) Strong communication and leadership skills Experience managing third-party vendors and service providers Educational Requirements Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline HOW TO APPLY: If you are interested in this role, please apply with your updated CV Skills: Project management Project Manager Benefits: Day Rate
