CREGG are seeking an Accounts Technician to join our client who are a growing company in the renewable energy sector based at their offices in Ennis, Co. Clare. The successful candidate will support the finance function, and you will work closely with the company accountant, who you will report directly to.

Ennis, Co. Clare – fully onsite.
Type
Full‑time Permanent. Will also consider candidates who are seeking a Part‑time position.
Key Responsibilities
Process invoices, purchase orders and supplier payments accurately and on time.
Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and fully compliant.
Assist with weekly payroll.
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
Support credit control and general bookkeeping duties.
Assist with day‑to‑day finance operations and administrative tasks as needed.
Other ad hoc duties as required.
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a similar bookkeeping or finance support role.
Strong understanding of accounts, reconciliations and credit control.
Proficient with Sage, Zoho, or similar accounting platforms.
Good IT skills with proficiency across the MS Office suite, especially MS Excel.
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and on own initiative.
A team player who is eager to learn, develop and take direction.
