Job Description
The role of Full-Time Cleaner is a vital position in maintaining the cleanliness and safety standards of our properties. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the property are clean and well-maintained.
Responsibilities:
* Clean and sanitize all areas of the property including dining areas, kitchens, restrooms, lounges and staff rooms.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas, cleaning supplies and equipment.
* Regularly check and replenish restroom supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels etc).
* Deep clean areas such as kitchen equipment, ventilation and carpets as required.
* Ensure all waste is disposed of properly and in a timely manner, including recycling where applicable.
Property Support
* Assist the Property Manager with basic maintenance tasks such as reporting issues with lighting, plumbing or heating.
* Ensure all cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked and organized.
* Help maintain exterior cleanliness including cleaning entryways, walkways and outdoor seating areas.
Health and Safety
* Ensure cleaning practices adhere to health and safety regulations and industry standards.
* Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely following manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with local regulations particularly in food-related areas.
Requirements
This role requires attention to detail, reliability, self-motivation and teamwork skills. Previous experience in a cleaning or maintenance role preferably within the hospitality industry is preferred.
