Salary: €180,000 - €220,000 plus Bonus, Pension & Health Insurance

The company is seeking to appoint a Finance Director to join the Executive Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of the organisation.

This role will suit an experienced finance leader currently operating as a Head of Finance, Finance Director, Financial Controller or senior finance executive within financial services.
The successful candidate will possess:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Significant financial services experience with strong knowledge of financial control, regulatory reporting and financial planning & analysis
Previous experience operating at Board, Executive Committee or senior leadership level
Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate high-performing finance teams
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence strategic business decisions
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to satisfy Central Bank of Ireland Fitness & Probity requirements and obtain approval for a PCF-11 designated role

Role and Reporting Lines
Reporting directly to the CEO and serving as the senior finance representative on the Executive Leadership Team, this role will lead the finance function while partnering closely with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver strategic and financial objectives.

Executive Leadership – Act as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, contributing to strategic decision‑making, business planning and organisational growth.
Financial Control – Ensure robust financial controls, governance frameworks and accounting policies are maintained across the organisation.
Regulatory & Statutory Reporting – Oversee all financial, regulatory, tax and statutory reporting obligations, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery.
Strategic Planning – Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning processes while providing meaningful challenge and commercial insight.
Business Performance – Deliver high‑quality financial analysis, reporting and recommendations to support business performance and growth.
Commercial Decision Support – Partner with senior leaders on pricing, investment decisions, new business opportunities and strategic initiatives.
Risk Management & Governance – Lead financial risk oversight, contribute to governance committees and ensure risks are appropriately identified and managed.
Leadership & Team Development – Manage, mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Regulatory Governance – Act as the holder of a PCF‑11 designated role, ensuring compliance with Central Bank Fitness & Probity requirements and maintaining the highest standards of governance and regulatory oversight.

This position is a Pre‑Approval Controlled Function (PCF‑11) and appointment will be subject to Central Bank of Ireland approval under the Fitness & Probity regime.
