We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join Suir Engineering Ltd. This position will be based on a Data Centre project in Co Kildare.

What you will be doing
1. Managing and owning the commercial and contractual requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
2. Interfacing with the Client Commercial/Contract Team.
3. Handling project procurement, including subcontractors.
4. Conducting cost and risk analyses.
5. Reviewing all incoming correspondence from Employers, Design Teams, and subcontractors to identify contractual critical items and initiate responses.
6. Managing the commercial aspects of subcontractors.
7. Providing project costing, margin, and cash flow reports.
8. Managing project change order procedures and negotiating costs with the client.
Is this the job for me?
1. Holding a third-level qualification in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying with at least 5 years of experience as a Project QS.
2. Possessing excellent oral and written communication skills.
3. Having electrical experience.
4. Previous experience working in Data Centres.
5. Ability to prioritize workload according to deadlines with high attention to detail.
6. Ability to influence colleagues at all levels.
7. Enjoying working as part of a high-performing team.
