Audit Senior – Financial Services (FS)
Location: Cork/Dublin
Visa Sponsorship: Yes
Business Area: FSO Assurance
Contract Type: Full-Time – Permanent
Your Key Responsibilities
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with clients, partners and directors.
Deliver efficient and effective audit and assurance services.
Manage day‑to‑day operations of assurance projects.
Coordinate with other EY service lines and offices.
Handle a variety of client needs, including technical and operational complexities.
Interact with business leaders, especially for leasing clients headquartered in Ireland.
Develop client/business issue understanding using firm knowledge resources.
Prepare accurate assurance documentation, meeting budget and deadline commitments.
Skills And Attributes For Success
To qualify for the role, you must have
Qualified ACA/ACCA (ICAEW, ICAS, Irish Institute or equivalent).
Degree qualified.
Experience in external audit.
Experience in a financial services department or appropriate technical background in insurance.
Expertise in primary accounting frameworks (US GAAP, UK GAAP or IFRS) and related financial reporting matters.
Ideally, you will also have
Strong communication skills.
Team working skills.
At least 18 months of passport validity to facilitate Work Permit & Visa applications.
