KCCEC is a warm, vibrant and energetic centre that caters for children aged from two and a half years up to 12years.
Our service offers sessional, part time, full time and afterschool care to the wonderful children in Kilcullen and its surrounding areas.
This is a very busy childcare centre but we take great pride in our ability to be flexible and accommodating to the needs of the families in our care.
We also offer a Forest School Programme thats runs alongside our early years programme.

Job Description
Responsible for assisting in developing, co-ordinating and directing varied activities involved in a busy pre-school and afterschool programme.
Reporting to: KCCEC Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with Manager and KCCEC Team for the purpose of implementing and maintaining services and/or programmes.
Co-ordinate the implementation of activities suitable for both pre-school and afterschool children.
Maintain room, and equipment to always ensure the health and safety of children.
Ensure a good standard of hygiene.
Attend meetings and undergo training as required.
Be aware of all policies and follow same.
Be aware of child protection procedures and advise manager should you have any concerns about a child.
Knowledge of Aistear and Siolta.
Supervise homework activities.
Accompany children to and from school.
Maintain strict confidentiality.
Perform other reasonable and relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Person Specifications
Minimum FETAC level 7 in Childcare.
Minimum 1 year work experience in a busy childcare environment.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Kind, friendly and responsive to the needs of children.
Good communication skills, fun loving and active.
Great sense of humor.
Occupational first Aid.
Must complete Garda Vetting.
Hours of work: Full-time 40hrs per week.
Rate of Pay: In line with ERO Rates.
