IT Infrastructure Project Manager – 12 month fixed term contract – Salary €85‑90k per annum – Dublin North (Hybrid, 3 days a week)
Overview
An excellent 12 month contract opportunity for a highly experienced Project Manager to join the Solution Delivery team. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with a proven track record in the delivery and management of large scale IT infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing network and data centre hardware upgrades in a 24×7 operational environment. The role will lead an integrated project team of internal technical resources and third parties.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution – Develop programme/project plans, manage interdependencies between workstreams from initiation through to post‑implementation.
Manage associated issues and risks, driving innovative solutions to keep the project on track.
Budget and Resourcing – Ensure the programme has the required level of budget and resourcing to meet deliverables within the timeline.
Stakeholder Communications – Act as the main point of contact for key stakeholders and ensure clear communication to impacted business areas, before, during and after the change.
Governance – Provide regular updates and ensure full transparency and alignment with stakeholders.
Accurate and timely problem identification and escalation.
Change Management – Lead change management efforts to ensure a smooth transition to BAU.
Required Attributes, Knowledge and Experience
7+ years of technology experience in a project environment, with a minimum of 5 years in a project management role.
Experience of complex network infrastructure and working in a 24×7 business operation is a distinct advantage.
Proven experience managing integrated teams of internal and supplier resources.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic business environment with multiple competing priorities.
Experience delivering technology to diverse business teams across front‑line operations and non‑front‑line support functions.
Structured project management skills covering the complete lifecycle and use of appropriate tools including MS Project and Jira.
Experience working within a hybrid delivery framework combining Agile and Waterfall as needed.
Professional qualification – PMI (PMP) or IPMA (Level C or higher) project management certification preferred.
