Role Purpose: Blackrock Clinic is currently recruiting an enthusiastic part-time typist to join our Histopathology team. Our Histopathology Laboratory offers a diverse repertoire of services across routine histopathology, cytopathology, special staining, immunohistochemistry testing, molecular testing and multidisciplinary team meetings for management of cancer patient treatment Qualifications/Experience: Computer skills, extensive knowledge of packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Good knowledge of all pathology scientific language is an advantage, ie: Histopathology. Accurate typing with good speed Ability to work and meet deadlines Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will work as part of a team responsible for the typing of dictated histopathology patient reports. Typing of Histology report Preparing slides and other appropriate material for MDMs To ensure the provision of safe, effective and efficient laboratory services. Personally, and professionally, you are accountable to the patient. You are personally accountable for your own actions at all times.
