Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to enhance their team.
This role is perfect for an organised, professional, and personable candidate with strong conveyancing experience who is seeking flexible part-time hours in a supportive office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage residential conveyancing files from instruction to completion.
Draft legal documents and correspondence.
Liaise with clients, solicitors, banks, estate agents, and the Land Registry.
Prepare contracts for sale, requisitions, and closing documentation.
Manage diaries, appointments, and file administration.
Handle telephone and email queries professionally and efficiently.
Assist with post-completion matters and registrations.
Perform general legal secretarial and administrative duties.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Previous conveyancing/legal secretarial experience is essential.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently on own initiative.
Good knowledge of conveyancing procedures and legal documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with case management systems is preferred.
