Director of Finance We are seeking a Director of Finance on behalf of our client, an international manufacturing company based in The Director of Financewill report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the business.
Responsibilities: Ensure strong cashflow and fiscal management of the business.
Ensure key financial processes and systems are in place so that the business can scale effectively whilst managing costs effectively Co-ordinate the development and monitoring of budgets.
Develop financial business plans, forecasts and risk assessments.
Monitor key KPI metrics and benchmarks and implement regular variance analysis processes.
Prepare financial reports for Corporate, Board and other investor / banking requirements.
Ensure high quality data analysis and insights available to set and monitor operations, purchasing and pricing strategies that deliver optimum revenue and gross margin.
Provide support to leadership team in assessing cost reduction options and in shaping, assessing and negotiating all commercial contracts both from a financial and legal perspective.
Work with Operations team to evaluate capex proposals, develop business cases, analyse savings and ROI, and provide support in procurement process.
Perform strategic market analysis on possible acquisition targets, prepare business cases and lead the structuring of any deals and post-acquisition integration.
Assess funding requirements of business, manage existing funding relationships and develop new sources of funding where appropriate.
Provide strong leadership across the finance team ensuring that all members are motivated and continually developed to work to the best of their potential.
Develop a resourcing plan for the finance function to support the growth of the business, including the right balance between recruitment and use of outsource partners / advisors.
As a member of the leadership team, play a key role in shaping the overall business strategy and growth of the business.
Key requirements: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong experience leading all aspects of the finance function of an internationally focused, high growth business Experience working in a manufacturing business through a period of operational transformation Excellent people leadership and influencing skills A strong focus on continuous improvement and attention to detail, with a belief in establishing systems and processes to ensure consistent strong operational performance Excellent commercial judgement with the ability to identify risks and opportunities A strategic and analytical thinker, with the ability to make dynamic, informed decisions All interested candidates should apply through the link provided for the attention of Chelsea Butler at Osborne Recruitment.
