Psychology Development Opportunity
This role is designed to provide recent graduates with a foundation in psychology the chance to gain practical experience prior to pursuing further professional training.
Responsibilities
* Work under the supervision of an experienced psychologist to develop skills and confidence in a supportive environment.
* Gradually introduced to work requirements, commencing with relevant reading materials and discussions with the supervisor.
* Contribute to tasks alongside the supervisor at an agreed level of work, with decreasing intensity as skills are developed.
* Receive regular supervision in a confidential setting to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Psychology (2:1 or higher).
* Masters degree in a related field.
* Previous experience in working with disability services (minimum 6 months).
* A full clean driving licence is required.
* Demonstrate commitment to evidence-based interventions and the scientist-practitioner model.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively share expertise.
The role requires flexibility in working hours to provide a quality service delivery for each individual.
Adaptability to changing environments and work requirements is essential for this position.
