Overview
Lead Transmission Engineer (Energy) – WSP in the UK & Ireland. This role is based in Ireland with a focus on expanding the Electricity Transmission & Distribution service line in Ireland and leading the growth of our business in the region.
What You Will Do
Develop and enhance relationships with Ireland’s Electricity Network Operators.
Win work by working on bids and proposals; contribute to project bids and client proposals.
Lead project management and project delivery, ensuring successful completion of projects within the assigned business.
What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience in Electrical Design related to Ireland’s Electricity Transmission System.
Management skills to lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams, including HV cable networks, Protection & Control, Substation Primary Design, Civil Engineering, and Overhead Line (OHL) Design.
Proven track record in project management and delivery.
Experience in bid management and proposals; ability to write proposals and win work.
Strong client interfacing skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
