About Your New Job
As the
Engineering Manager
, you will lead the Mechanical Design team and oversee the successful delivery of complex, high-value engineering projects. You will:
* Drive project execution, ensuring design quality, efficiency, and compliance with scope, budget, and timelines.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical outputs with client and project milestones.
* Build long-term client relationships through reliability, innovation, and clear communication.
* Establish and maintain engineering standards, documentation practices, and design quality processes.
* Identify opportunities to improve design cycle time, cost-efficiency, and product performance.
* Support strategic initiatives such as modular platform development and digitalisation.
What Skills You Need to Become Engineering Manager
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
* 10+ years' mechanical design experience in a project-based engineering or manufacturing setting.
* Proven leadership and team management experience.
* Proficiency in 3D CAD systems (e.g., SolidEdge) and engineering documentation.
* Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience working in GMP environments is an advantage.
