 
        Job opportunity: Manager, Sligo Racquet Club/Sligo Tennis ClubType: Permanent Fixed (35 hours)Salary: €35,000Location: Old Bundoran Road, (on-site)Sligo Racquet Club is a multi sport facility on the outskirts of Sligo town, where tennis (6 courts), badminton & pickleball (5 courts in shared hall), squash (4 courts) and cricket (indoor hall) are played and boasts a large function room (unlicensed).Reporting to the club president and management committee officers, the manager will have responsibility for:Office & Staff managementMembership renewals and growthResponding to Member queriesSetting up events/coaching on our club app throughout the year for each sport's captainsPreparing monthly accounts information for the club treasurer to reviewFacilities maintenance & upgrades supervisionDeveloping fundraising initiatives to future proof the facility, including grant applicationsMarketing the club and any coaching programs through the website & social media platforms, in particular navigating our upcoming rebrandingEnsuring all coach safeguarding and vetting information is up to dateManaging affiliations with the relevant sports bodiesAssisting the club captains in running their individual tournaments throughout the yearManaging function room bookings and club calendarAny other tasks that might be required to facilitate the smooth running of the clubThe desired candidate will have:Proven experience in Managing a Sports FacilityExperience in a Sports Software Package (we use Smart Club) & MS Office suiteSocial Media and Marketing SkillsKeen attention to detailIdeas on how to grow and develop all the sports offered at Sligo Racquet ClubAs this is a club where members play evenings and weekends, there will be some evening/weekend work applicable for the successful candidate.Applications to be emailed to: Closing date for applications: 24 October 2025Interviews will be held outside of business hoursJob Type: Full-timePay: From €35,000.00 per yearBenefits:On-site parkingSick payWork Location: In person
