We are currently recruiting for a Junior Transport Coordinator to join our teamlocated in our Cork Depot Barryscourt, Carrigtwohill.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in customer service who wants to grow in a logistics role.
What You’ll Do:
* Plan and schedule transport routes for timely, efficient delivery of goods.
* Track shipments and ensure everything arrives on time.
* Keep detailed records and prepare transport activity reports.
* Work with transport providers to secure the best rates and service.
* Resolve delivery issues quickly and professionally.
* Collaborate with our logistics team to anticipate future transport needs.
* Use transport management software to keep everything running smoothly.
* Ensure all transport activities follow regulations and company policies.
What You’ll Bring:
* 1–2 years of customer service or admin/office experience is a plus, but not required.
* Fluent in both written and oral English.
* Great communication skills and a knack for problem-solving.
* Confidence using tools like Outlook, Excel, and other systems.
* The ability to stay calm under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Good geographical knowledge of Cork County is a big advantage.
