PM Group are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Project Manager for our OTS (Outsourced Technical Services) department.
This role is based with one of our pharmaceutical manufacturing client's and located in the Waterford area.
This position has a hybrid option.
Responsibilities General overview: Safe execution of all phases of the project including funding, procurement, installation and commissioning Overall responsibility for technical/commercial delivery and execution of tasks Review and understand commercial aspects of the project Monitor the effectiveness of the strategy and modify as necessary to accommodate changing circumstances throughout the life of the project Identify resource needs, timing and organize with resource owners Coordinate the design between all disciplines including sub-contractors and site team Prepare Project Monthly Internal Report and ensure early notification of any significant project issues that may arise Ability to lead a team and manage various vendor engineering contractors on site Proven expertise in working with MS Office Tools particularly Power Point and Excel Extremely strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of management High degree of comfort working with multiple stakeholders Develop enduring, trust-based relationships with people at all career levels, both professionally and personally Qualifications Qualifications and requirements: Applicants will need experience working on large pharmaceutical type projects Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to understand a broad range of business and technical challenges, to translate strategy into measurable business benefits and to articulate key messages to senior stakeholders.
Minimum of 8-10 years' relevant experience Degree qualification preferred and a professional project management qualification is ideal.
