Role Overview
The Systems / Automation Engineer will support the design, implementation and commissioning of automation and process control systems for a new manufacturing facility. The role ensures robust, compliant and reliable automation solutions to meet production, safety and quality requirements.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Develop, configure and implement automation systems (e.g. DCS, PLC, SCADA, BMS/EMS).
Participate in design reviews, FAT/SAT activities and commissioning of systems.
Collaborate with process, validation and engineering teams for seamless integration.
Prepare and maintain automation documentation in line with project and GMP standards.
Provide troubleshooting and technical support during start-up and qualification.
Ensure compliance with GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, and other relevant regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science or related discipline.
3+ years’ experience in automation or systems engineering in a GMP environment.
Knowledge of GAMP, GMP and regulatory requirements for automation.
Hands-on experience with Siemens, Emerson, DeltaV or equivalent systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
