Overview
The Customer Care Advisor plays a key role in advising customers on their insurance needs, handling inbound inquiries, and generating sales and renewals through outbound activity. The ideal candidate is reliable, focused, and ready to contribute to a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
* Handle enquiries from customers through inbound telephone activity and email.
* Respond to customer service requirements according to service levels, procedures and guidelines.
* Provide relevant and accurate advice to customers with in-depth knowledge of the business and its services.
* Meet and exceed individual and team targets.
* Resolve queries on a first-call basis where possible.
* Make outbound calls to generate sales and renewals.
* Act in a compliant and secure manner in line with policy and procedures.
* Work as part of a united, high-performing team.
* Commit to future personal development and growth.
Qualifications/skills
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Decision-making and numeric skills.
* Sales negotiation and administration skills are highly desirable.
Experience
* Experience working in a pressurised environment with tight deadlines.
* Experience working as part of a team and supporting others to achieve objectives.
* Third-level qualification (highly desired).
