The Role
This key member of our Global Communications and Corporate Brand team will lead the development and execution of communications supporting the Global Quality Organization and Global Supply Organization.
They will champion a culture of quality at operations sites and deliver communications that inspire, connect, and reinforce the critical role these functions play in our success.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Operations Communications: Develop and execute communication strategies that promote a culture of quality, safety, compliance, and customer service across global operations.
* Executive & Leader Communications: Develop and execute communications plans for senior leaders to drive engagement, visibility, and connection with colleagues.
* Equip leaders with tools and messaging to foster alignment and engagement.
* Employee Engagement & Communication Effectiveness: Lead the development of an Operations Communications Council to drive employee engagement and promote knowledge sharing.
* Change & Organizational Communications: Provide strategic counsel and develop communications to support organizational announcements, restructuring activities, divestitures, and integrations impacting global operations and quality.
* Issues Management: Proactively prepare for known issues to mitigate impact and refine issues management response strategy.
* Support internal/external communications in crisis situations.
* External Communications: Assist with media inquiries, stay informed of industry news, and advise on its impact on communications.
* Impact Measurement & Improvement: Use metrics and analytics to assess communications effectiveness and apply insights to improve efforts.
Requirements
A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred. Extensive experience within a pharmaceutical organization is preferred.
Strong ability to lead communications around sensitive operational matters, collaborate effectively, and influence stakeholders.
Skilled at identifying operational efficiencies and applying communications best practices.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
