Job Title: Programme Facilitator
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Parttime (35 hours per week)
Location: Thomastown, County Kilkenny, Ireland

Responsibilities
Develop and deliver programmes for adults with intellectual disability and autism.
Follow plans and methods to meet individual needs.
Support and motivate a mixed workforce of volunteers and employees.
Promote the New Directions model of day support services within the role.
Qualifications
Hold a Level 6 or higher qualification on the QQI Framework, or an equivalent in Community/Health, Social Care or Education.
Have at least two years’ experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
Understood current national and sectoral policy developments in social care for disability services.
Experience running programmes for adults with intellectual disabilities and autism.
Ability to follow plans and methods to meet ongoing needs of individuals supported.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
Full driver’s licence and own car.
Ability to manage, coach, motivate, and develop a mixed workforce of volunteers and employees.
