The Role
Due to exceptional growth, we now have a vacancy for a HGV Rigid Driver to join our Cookstown, Tallaght, Co. Dublin depot. An excellent opportunity to join a progressive and dynamic company.
* Delivering and collecting timber pallets and other timber products throughout Ireland
* Ensuring all loads are transported in a safe and secure manner
* Completing daily work routines and maintaining the assigned vehicle
* Ensuring all paperwork is thoroughly completed, up-to-date, and returned promptly
* Assisting the Transport Planners with route planning and ensuring compliance
* Maintaining tachograph records, compliant and available for inspection
* Reporting issues with trucks or trailers to the Mechanics Team
* Reporting delays or issues with deliveries and assisting with timely resolutions
* Supporting RSA inspections
* Collaborating with the Logistics Team for smooth fleet operations
* Adhering to all health and safety protocols at CJS and customer locations
* Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality customer service
* Participating in regular meetings and performing other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
* Full clean valid driving license
* Digital tachograph card
* Driver qualification card & up-to-date CPC modules
* Fluent in English (verbal & written)
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude
* Good team player with strong customer service skills
