MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a leading Tier 1 construction contractor to recruit an experienced and motivated Bid Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the success of an established bid team on a range of interesting high value projects.
The Role We are working with a leading construction company who are seeking a Bid Manager to join their established team.
Working closely with the wider team, you will play a strategic role managing a variety of tenders and encouraging successful bid response while also taking responsibility for client engagement.
You will: Provide strategic leadership to the bidding team, setting clear direction across multiple concurrent tenders and leading by example to deliver high-quality bid submissions.
Develop and agree bid win strategies, bid programmes, and tender positions in collaboration with the Pre-Construction Director, Bid Director, Commercial, and Estimating teams.
Manage the full tender process, organising and chairing internal and external progress meetings, while driving engagement with clients and wider project teams.
Identify, manage, and communicate key risks and opportunities, ensuring contract, tenant, and design documentation are fully reviewed and accurately reflected in submissions.
Contribute to wider business development activities, maintain a strong understanding of each scheme, and travel across the UK as required.
