Role Overview
We are looking for a dependable
System Administrator
to manage, maintain, and support our IT infrastructure. You will ensure system stability, security, and performance while working closely with IT, cloud, and security teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, configure, and maintain Linux and/or Windows servers
* Monitor system performance, availability, and security
* Manage user accounts, access controls, and permissions
* Perform system updates, backups, and disaster recovery
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
* Support cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments
* Document system configurations and operational procedures
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 2+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role
* Strong knowledge of
Linux and/or Windows Server
* Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
* Experience with virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
* Professional working proficiency in
English
Nice to Have
* Experience with automation or scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
* Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools
* Experience working with DevOps or SRE teams
* IT certifications (Microsoft, Linux, CompTIA, or similar)
