Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and maintain IP network infrastructure (LAN/WAN)
Implement and support routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
Configure and manage network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
Support network upgrades, migrations, and deployment projects
Ensure network security best practices are followed
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (cloud, security, infrastructure)
Produce and maintain network documentation and diagrams
Provide 2nd/3rd line support where required
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as an IP Network Engineer in enterprise environments
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, VPNs
Hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies
Experience with firewalls and network security principles
Solid troubleshooting and analytical skillsFamiliarity with network monitoring tools
Experience working in remote/distributed teams
Desirable Skills:
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies
Automation/scripting experience (Python, Ansible)
Exposure to network virtualization technologies
Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Proactive problem-solving mindset
Good time management and prioritization skills
