PURPOSEThe Ecom Sales manager will be responsible for driving Ecommerce Sales in Ireland & Northern Ireland and owning the Ecommerce Sales revenue budget. They will manage a dedicated Ecom Sales team with a view to significantly increasing Global Payments/BOIPA's market share of the Ecommerce Market in Ireland & Northern Ireland.This role reports directly into the Director of Sales for Ireland on the IE Sales Leadership team.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES PrimaryPrimary driver of New Ecommerce Sales for the Irish BusinessDevise a 2 year strategy for building Ecommerce market share in IrelandAchieve/exceed new Sales revenue targets for Ecommerce SalesThrough a dedicated Ecom Sales teamWhile supporting increased Ecom sales from the overall Sales ChannelOwnership of Irish businesses Ecommerce New Business targetIdentify & act on opportunities to drive increased Ecommerce Sales across the Sales ChannelTargeted on seeking out & signing relevant external Partners to support Ecommerce growthWork with Sales Leadership team to collate feedback from channel to identify upside opportunities & increase overall confidence in selling Ecommerce solutionsA specialist support for the sales channel to lean on for Ecommerce opportunities.Create Ecommerce Sales Acquisition Play Book/ Training materialSecondaryRepresent the Irish Business at all relevant Industry EventsWork with key internal stakeholders to continuously improve the overall Ecommerce product Suite offering and onboarding processesProvide ongoing feedback to SLT/ Product teams on how Ecommerce product suite is resonating with merchantsCOMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS or ABILITIES / BEHAVIOUR)Minimum of 4 years' experience within the Payments IndustryPreferably focused on the Ecommerce MarketMinimum of 2 years' people management experiencePrevious experience driving Ecommerce Sales at management level is desirableProven track record of exceeding sales and revenue targets and ability to self-generate new businessA natural leader & ability to work on own initiativeAbility to handle multiple tasks at onceTakes ownership of tasks/ responsibilities without need for promptingExceptional communication skillsStrong analytical SkillsStrong Microsoft Office Suite Skills with emphasis on ExcelStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaborativelyQUALIFICATIONSDiploma/Certificates in Business Development a plusCAREER PATHProven track record of growing in previous roles/ promoted to more senior/leader type roles
