Job description Social Care Worker - Residential Service (Permanent) Location: Wicklow Salary: From €38,918 per annum Hours: 39 hours per week We are currently recruiting Social Care Workers to support adults with autism in a residential service in Wicklow.

Key Responsibilities Provide person-centred support to adults with autism Support individuals with daily living activities and routines Assist with personal care where required Encourage independence and community participation Work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams Follow individual care plans and support strategies Requirements QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care / Applied Social Care (or relevant Schedule 3 qualification) with minimum 6 months recent relevant experience OR A relevant degree ( Social Work, Psychology) with at least 2 years recent relevant experience CORU registration as a Social Care Worker, or proof of application in progress Knowledge of social care legislation and best practice Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full, clean driver's licence Working Pattern Day line only rota Rolling rota of 3 shifts per week (13 hours per shift) One week includes 11pm finishes and the following week 9pm finishes One weekend on and the next weekend off Benefits Company pension contribution Sick pay and healthcare supports Paid maternity and paternity leave 22 days annual leave Premium rates for evening and weekend work Education support and ongoing professional development Bike to Work scheme Employee Assistance Programme Paid breaks Career progression opportunities Apply
