Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Banqueting Manager to lead the execution of conferences, meetings, and events at our prestigious club.
In this hands-on role, you will ensure every detail is flawlessly delivered, creating exceptional experiences for our members and guests.
While banqueting is primarily the role, you will also be expected to act as Duty Manager when required.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of events, including staffing, service, and setup.
* Coordinate with the Events, Kitchen, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
* Respond to guest enquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
* Manage billing, inventory, and reconciliation processes.
* Supervise and train staff, assist with rostering, and develop standard operating procedures and maintain accurate training records.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and fire regulations.
About You
* You will bring:
* A minimum of 2 years' proven experience in banqueting or event operations.
* Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Familiarity with AV equipment and stock management systems.
* Solid understanding of food & beverage service and pricing structures.
* A proactive attitude and a passion for delivering service excellence.
* Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
