Overview

Weir & Sons is a renowned family-run business with fourth and fifth generation members currently working at Weirs. Weir & Sons combines the talents of vibrant staff with the tradition of quality and service, offering a wide range of luxury goods and top brands for diverse budgets and tastes. Weir & Sons is seeking an Aftersales Assistant within the Customer Service Department at our Grafton Street store.

The successful candidate will be passionate about providing an excellent level of customer service to clients in conjunction with our premium brand partners.


The Role

This role will involve a mixture of office administration, sales and front-of-house customer service.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, rostered 5 days over 7 (Mon to Sat 9:30am–6:00pm; Sunday 12:00pm–6:00pm). In addition to core hours, you may be required to work Bank Holidays and late-night trading if rostered (overtime paid for such hours).


Responsibilities

* Provide high-quality customer service to clients and brand partners in a luxury aftersales environment.
* Assist with office administration and sales activities as part of the After Sales team.
* Support front-of-house operations and maintain a professional, well-presented demeanor.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer requests are fulfilled accurately and promptly.


Qualifications and Experience

* Customer-focused with the ability to work well in a structured team environment and with initiative.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Professional presentation, articulate communication, and friendly personality.
* Previous office administration, call centre or customer service experience preferred.
* Excellent phone manner and attention to detail; ability to read and understand the demands of a luxury aftersales market.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to find solutions.
* Experience in jewellery/luxury retail industry or administration/reception/hospitality is desirable.
* Contributory pension scheme; 22 days annual leave pro rata; staff discounts; bike to work scheme; and paid overtime where applicable.
