We are currently inviting applications for a Part Time Night Porter position to join the Front Office team at Sheen Falls Lodge.
Scope General Purpose of Job
To care for the guests and property of Sheen Falls Lodge throughout the night.
Reporting to: Head Porter and Duty Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Service of food and beverage items as requested
* Oversee Reception office – answering phones and queries
* Cleaning front of house areas; regularly checking that the premises are safe and secure
* Managing any difficult incidents that may occur with the assistance of the Duty Manager, when necessary.
* Be responsible for and aware of fire safety, the evacuation system, and safe handling of fire, in case of emergency while on duty.
* Use initiative whilst carrying out duties so that we provide the best possible
* Responsible for the security of the hotel at all times, both in terms of access to the hotel and hotel property while on duty.
Minumun 2+ years experience in a similar position.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role in a busy 4*/5* star Hotel environment.
* Previous experience in hospitality.
* Must possess excellent guest service skills.
* Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Must have a full driver's license.
* Must have fluent English both oral and written and full legal status to work in Ireland.
