Production (Food) Manager

Salary – €50,000 - €65,000 per annum, Depending on Experience
At The Butler's Pantry, we are excited to be adding a Production Manager on a full time, permanent basis in our facilities in Bray, Co. Wicklow.
You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of production, ensuring that all production line activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead a team supporting their development, and ensuring operational targets are met in a fast-paced food production environment.
Key duties
* Lead and guide operatives across multiple production lines to meet daily targets.
* Oversee production activities (sorting, packaging, labelling, assembly) ensuring compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health & safety standards.
* Monitor output and quality, resolving issues promptly to minimise downtime and waste.
* Provide hands-on support through training, coaching, performance reviews, and onboarding of new employees.
* Manage shift schedules and task allocation in line with production demands.
* Collaborate with Head Chefs, Quality, Logistic, the Retail team and Human Resources to ensure seamless operations.
* Ensure accurate completion of all production documentation in accordance with SOPs and internal quality systems.
* Oversee equipment setup and changeovers, ensuring safe and proper use of machinery.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes and team performance.
We are looking for
* Previous supervisory/management experience. Experience in food production is a must.
