POSITION SUMMARY The Director of GMS and Change Communications is responsible for leading internal and external communication activities.
Reporting to the Head of Leadership and Colleague Communications, this role oversees GMS executive communications and provides strategic oversight of all GMS colleague communications to support the Future GMS Transformation.
This leader will serve as a member of the GMS leadership team and act as a key advisor to the EVP and President, GMS, to define and deliver an engaging global communications strategy.
Responsibilities include developing communication strategies to build leadership presence, engage colleagues, and manage crisis communication and issues within the GMS network.
Additionally, this role oversees change management communications supporting major Zoetis transformations impacting teams and colleagues.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Provide strategic support and counsel to the GMS Leadership Team on communication strategies and approaches. Partner with GMS leadership to drive communication, cultural transformation, and engagement initiatives, supporting executive messaging for the EVP, President of GMS, and the GMS executive team. Develop and lead change management communication plans to support organizational change aligned with leadership and team needs. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS This role requires collaboration across functions to ensure effective internal communications that foster alignment, engagement, and cultural change.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 10+ years in corporate/internal communications or colleague engagement Proven ability to develop and execute enterprise-wide communication strategies Experience partnering with senior executives on messaging and engagement Strong storytelling, writing, and editing skills Knowledge of internal communication platforms (e.g., Yammer, SharePoint) Experience managing crisis communications Experience in a global or matrixed environment Understanding of employee engagement and change management Proficiency in using survey and sentiment analysis tools Ability to develop communication toolkits and frameworks Experience engaging frontline and non-desk workforce Strong project and relationship management skills Ability to prioritize and align multiple stakeholders Proven influencing and leadership counsel skills Strong analytical skills and industry awareness TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Strategic Communication & Change Management Digital & Internal Communication Tools Analytics & Audience Engagement Crisis & Executive Communications PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS Willingness to travel for meetings and events Occasional after-hours or weekend work This job is full-time.
