As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for processing supplier invoices and managing accounts payable in a dynamic environment.

You will assist with month-end processes, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments, and maintain accurate financial records.
In addition, you will support the preparation of management accounts and financial reports, conduct stock and balance sheet reconciliations, and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing supplier invoices and managing accounts payable
* Assisting with month-end processes, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments
* Maintaining accurate financial records, including VAT returns and the Fixed Asset Register
* Supporting the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
* Conducting stock and balance sheet reconciliations
* Providing financial insights and analysis to support decision-making
Requirements:
* Part-qualified or qualified (IATI, CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent)
* Current proven experience in a fast-paced Accounts setting with strong proficiency in Accounts Payable
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with knowledge of pivot tables and formulas
* Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting systems
* A proactive approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
