Location: The Courtyard Bar & Restaurant, Clonakilty, Ireland
Contract Type: Temporary Contract (2 Months)
Salary: €15.50 - €16.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team on a temporary contract. This position is ideal for a skilled chef with a passion for high-quality food preparation and an eagerness to contribute to a thriving culinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation: Prepare and present high-quality dishes in accordance with kitchen standards and guidelines.
2. Section Management: Oversee your designated section (hot, cold, or pastry), ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
3. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
4. Training & Supervision: Assist in training junior staff and maintaining high performance within the kitchen team.
5. Menu Contribution: Contribute ideas for menu items and specials, keeping in line with seasonal availability and food trends.
6. Stock Management: Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.
7. Hygiene Standards: Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
1. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
2. Culinary Skills: Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
3. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure, team-oriented environment.
4. Creativity: A passion for creating dishes that combine tradition with innovation.
5. Time Management: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
6. Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
7. Language Skills: Fluent English is essential.
