Storeperson (Grade B) Panel
Temporary 1 year Contract.
Part Time Hours (19.5 hours per week).
The Storeperson would perform day-to-day stores tasks for receiving, inspecting, controlling and moving of products, while constantly aiming towards improving these functions to achieve the maximum financial benefit for Mercy University Hospital.
This role will be between Boland Industrial Estate (Mallow Road) and the Mercy University Hospital.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensure the safe loading and offloading of goods or any materials from vehicles and assisting colleagues in this task where necessary.
* Checking and recording goods received match the specification of what was ordered,are in good order and are deemed fit for purpose.
* Liaise with Warehouse Supervisor and/or Supplies Officers for any urgent or important tasks to be completed daily.
* Make deliveries to various locations within the hospital.
* Maintain excellent housekeeping duties.
* Adhere to MUH policies.
* Working Hours currently are 9.30am to 1.30pm, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required. Working Hours may be subject to change as needs demand.
Candidates Eligibility Criteria:
* Good attention to detail.
* Must be willing to undertake a flexible roster if required.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team is essential.
* Experience in a warehouse environment is desirable.
