Job Description
* Develop a global consumer insight strategy to drive business objectives.
As the Global Sensory and Consumer Insight Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in developing and implementing sensory and consumer insights that will drive profitable growth. The successful candidate will have experience in leading sensory teams within a Flavour / Taste company or Food/Beverage CPG, with a strong understanding of sensory science and AI enabled technologies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a global consumer insight strategy aligned with business objectives.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a global team of consumer and sensory insight professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
3. Matrix Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sensory & consumer insights into Innovation, decision-making, strategy, and competitive positioning.
Requirements
We are seeking a highly experienced professional with:
* Minimum undergraduate Science Degree
* Extensive experience in leading sensory teams within a Flavour / Taste company or Food/Beverage CPG
* Global View and ability to matrix lead a geographically dispersed team
* Strong business acumen with the ability to work within a matrix and achieve objectives by influence
* Links to universities and other external bodies of expertise in sensory science
