Commercial Business Development Manager - Logistics and Supply Chain

This is a high-impact commercial leadership role for a proven business hunter in logistics and supply chain. You’ll be the driving force behind revenue growth and strategic partnerships, ensuring chilled and ambient logistics contracts not only deliver but evolve.
Your focus will be on winning new business, maximise existing relationships, and hunting out opportunities that fuel ambitious growth across Ireland’s retail and consumer supply chain landscape.
This role suits someone commercially sharp, resilient, and energised by bringing on new customers and scaling operations.
Core Responsibilities
* Drive new revenue growth across chilled and ambient logistics partnerships
* Drive growth by securing new business and strengthening relationships with existing partners
* Own the commercial delivery and day-to-day management of key contracts
* Lead Quarterly Business Reviews, pricing discussions, and contract renewals
* Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure service excellence (OTIF, returns, fulfillment accuracy)
* Act as the commercial voice across warehousing and logistics delivery
* Spot, shape, and convert new opportunities in the Irish logistics and FMCG space
Requirements
* Proven track record as a sales hunter strong business development credentials in logistics, FMCG distribution, or supply chain
* Commercial leadership experience with chilled and/or ambient 3PL contracts
* Strong understanding of warehousing, temperature-controlled logistics, and last-mile delivery
* Experience negotiating with senior stakeholders (Supply Chain Directors, Procurement Leads, Heads of Logistics, Commercial Managers)
* Data-driven and commercially astute equally comfortable closing in the boardroom or problem-solving on-site
* Ambitious, with the resilience and drive to help double a business over the next 3–5 years
