We are currently recruiting a full-time, permanent Accounts Assistant for our client based in Blarney, Co.
Cork.
In this role, you will be a vital part of a growing finance team, balancing core accounts receivable duties with general office administration.
You will work closely with the accounting team to ensure the smooth financial operation of the business while maintaining excellent relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
As an Accounts Assistant, your daily tasks will involve: Financial Support: You will handle bank reconciliations and assist the wider accounting team in preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports.
Accounts Receivable: Youll be responsible for reviewing charging sheets from the in-house system and raising sales invoices accurately and on time.
Credit Control & Collections: You will monitor customer accounts, apply receipts, and communicate professionally with customers to ensure payments are made within agreed credit terms.
Query Resolution: You will act as a point of contact for resolving invoice disputes or queries, liaising with both internal account owners and external partners.
Office Administration: Youll provide general support, including managing stationery orders and occasionally covering the reception desk.
Requirements & Location Experience: You should ideally have previous experience working within an accounts receivable department/capacity.
Tech Savvy: You must have excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
Location Note: Our clients office is located in Blarney.
Please note that due to the specific location of the site, public transport is limited, and having your own means of transport is highly recommended.
