Construction Project Manager

Our client, a highly respected and rapidly growing construction company based in North Dublin, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving project success, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to the ongoing growth of the business.
Responsibilities
* Lead project planning activities and coordinate internal resources to ensure project objectives are met.
* Take ownership of a portfolio of projects, ensuring a full understanding of all scope elements.
* Maintain proactive involvement in every stage of project delivery, from pre-start through to client handover.
* Keep internal teams and clients informed through regular communication, both informal updates and formal reporting channels.
* Support decision-making processes across the project lifecycle, collaborating with both internal teams and external partners.
* Maintain accurate project records and adhere to established procedures to ensure milestones are achieved and traceable.
* Ensure smooth transition from tender/contract award through all departments to final financial close-out.
* Manage strong relationships with clients, contractors, and all project stakeholders.
* Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks with clear mitigation strategies.
* Resolve internal issues or delays promptly to avoid disruption to project progress.
* Provide early warnings and escalation of risks, challenges, or concerns to senior management as needed.
* Work closely with the project Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial performance and maintain budgetary control.
Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a project management role.
* Third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or a related field.
* A strong sense of accountability with exceptional attention to detail.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Confident decision-maker with the ability to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
* Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence, motivate, and support multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a solution-driven mindset.
* A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
* Experience in façades coordination is an advantage.
* Familiarity with 3D modelling for coordination purposes is beneficial.
