PURPOSE
The Ecom Sales specialist will be responsible for the generation of new Ecom Sales and expanding our Ecom footprint in the Irish market.
The role is dedicated to incremental Ecom sales to the wider SMB Sales channel targeting Back Book acquiring opportunities and net new Gateway sales.
This role will be targeted across a number of core KPI's including In Year Revenue/Sales per Day/ Activity metrics.
The Ecom Sales specialist will also serve as a champion/ leader of Ecommerce Sales for the wider Sales Channel providing insight/ training and ultimately become a product expert for selling Ecom.
They will need to work with the Partner Channel to support growth in Ecommerce sales opportunities via these channels.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary
Primary driver of New Ecommerce Sales for the Irish Business
Devise Strategy for building Ecommerce market share in Ireland
Achieve/exceed new Sales revenue targets
Ownership of Ecommerce New Business target
Close warm and self-generated Ecom sales opportunities via phone/ F2F where required
Identify opportunities to drive increased Ecommerce Sales across the Sales Channel
Work with a dedicated SDR to unearth
Serve as the Ecommerce Sales Champion for the Sales Channel
Create Ecommerce Sales Play Book/ Training material
Lead and facilitate remote/F2F Sales training sessions centered around Ecommerce
Secondary
Represent the Irish Sales Channel at all Ecommerce related forums both internally/externally
Work with key internal stakeholders to continuously improve the overall Ecommerce product Suite offering and onboarding processes
Work with Partner Acquisition team to identify and target key new Partners that can support Ecommerce growth within Ireland
Provide ongoing feedback to SLT/ Product teams on how Ecommerce product suite is resonating with merchants
COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS or ABILITIES / BEHAVIOUR)
Minimum 4 years relevant sales experience (selling in the payments industry ideally)
Novice level Ecom Sales exposure/knowledge a major plus
Proven track record of exceeding sales and revenue targets and ability to self-generate new business
A natural leader & ability to work on own initiative
Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
Takes ownership of tasks/ responsibilities without need for prompting
Exceptional customer Service and Communication skills
Strong analytical Skills
Strong Microsoft Office Suite Skills with emphasis on Excel
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience in the payments industry is a plus
Knowledge of CRM systems is also a plus
QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma/Certificates in Business Development a plus
