We're now hiring an Engineering Lead to coordinate engineering, detailing, production, and scheduling activities across our fabrication workflow.
What We Offer Competitive salary with bonus Health and life insurance Pension scheme Career progression and long-term development opportunities Work on technically complex, bespoke fabrication projects Collaborative, forward-thinking team environment Key Responsibilities Machinery & Programming: Oversee programming, fault resolution, and maintenance of machines Drawing Office Coordination: Manage workloads for steel detailers and track drawing progress Prepare fabrication packages, cut lists, and machine nests Improve drawing output for ease of fabrication and erection Materials Management: Track stock levels and procurement for upcoming projects Maintain knowledge of steel grades and material types Performance Monitoring: Set KPIs for machine operators and detailers Report on output quality, waste reduction, and schedule performance Collaboration & Leadership: Liaise with factory, production, and site teams Attend planning meetings and coordinate project readiness Minimise downtime and improve production efficiency Implement lean principles and troubleshoot process issues What You Bring Strong background in engineering, fabrication, or manufacturing environments Knowledge of steel grades, detailing processes, and workshop operations Proficiency in machine scheduling, drawing software, and stock tracking Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills IT proficiency and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a live production setting Contact: -Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Company pension Private medical insurance Ability to commute/relocate: Roscommon, County Roscommon: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Application question(s): Have you worked in the structural steel, metal fabrication, or architectural metalwork industry?Work authorisation: Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
