Lead Research Chemist for Cell and Gene Therapy
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Research Chemist to spearhead research and development projects in cell and gene therapy.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry or chemical engineering, with extensive experience in the development of nano- and microparticle technologies. They will be responsible for leading product research and development projects from concept through to commercialization, while ensuring high-quality execution of experiments and maintaining compliance with ISO 13485 GMP requirements.
Your Responsibilities:
* Supervise laboratory operations, oversee quality systems, coordinate timelines, report on project progress.
* Develop analytical methods, workflows, QC protocols that meet ISO 13485 GMP requirements;
* Mentor lab staff, ensure a compliant working environment;

Educational Background:
A Ph.D. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is preferred (M.Sc. with significant work experience considered). -----------------------------------
The role requires a proven track record of successful leadership roles within an R&D team environment preferably with scale-up exposure (ideally more than 5 years). The incumbent must also demonstrate exceptional strategic thinking skills alongside effective stakeholder management capabilities accompanied by excellent written/oral communication competencies as well.
