Job Title: Business Development Manager
Reports To: Head of Commercial
Location: Remote in Ireland
About the Role:
We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to identify new opportunities and help convert them into long-term clients. This role involves regular travel throughout Ireland and occasional work from our Head Office in Limerick.
Please note: This role is based in Ireland. Only candidates currently residing in Ireland will be considered.
Responsibilities
* Identify and engage decision-makers in public and private sectors
* Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts to the Head of Commercial
* Represent the company at exhibitions, events, and product demonstrations
* Monitor competitors and gather market intelligence
* Develop deep knowledge of our services and products
* Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure profitability
* Prepare quotes, proposals, and presentations for potential clients
* Adhere to company policies and procedures
* Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
* Proven track record in public/private sector sales
* Demonstrated success in meeting sales goals and driving revenue
* Experience in Software or HealthTech is a plus
* Familiarity with contract regulations
* Strong communication, listening, and negotiation skills
* Advanced presentation and cold-calling experience
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
* Collaborative team player with stakeholder engagement experience
* Adaptable to changing priorities
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Self-starter who enjoys working independently
* Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools
* Experience in the interpreting and translation industry is desirable but not essential
