Our Client is currently recruiting aFirst Notification of Loss (FNOL) Claims Handlerbased in their South Dublin office (Dublin 16).Our Client is a dedicated, broker-only underwriting agency acting as a product producer on behalf of top-rated European and Irish insurers. They perform all the duties of an insurer, including underwriting, pricing, distribution, branding, broker agreements/schemes, accounts reconciliation, and full claims handling and settlement.To deliver these services to the highest standards, our Client employs experienced, high-calibre professionals and provides a positive, team-focused working environment with valuable on-the-job training.This is afull-time permanent contract, and the successful candidate will report directly to theClaims Operations Manager.Ideal Candidate1–2 years of relevant FNOL claims handling experience.Minimum APA qualified or grandfathered, ideally working towards CIP.Must have previous motor experience.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day handling of all claims post, notifications, processing, and phone calls.Compliance with insurance company binders and claims authority/reporting rules.Ensure best practice for departmental efficiency and service.Log all notifications, reserve amendments, and payments by month-end.Assist in producing month-end reports and recording monthly payments.Maintain excellent service standards for customers, brokers, and third parties.Report directly to the Claims Manager and/or insurance carriers.Assist with insurer audits.Appoint approved repairers, loss adjusters, engineers, medical and legal experts.Aim for early settlement without legal experts where possible.Observe PIAB rules on reported claims.Attend settlement negotiations if requested.Provide training on monthly and quarterly reporting (training will be provided).Perform other duties as required by management.Key SkillsMinimum 1-2 years FNOL claims handling experience.APA/Grandfathered status, ideally working towards CIP.Strong customer focus and ability to achieve win-win outcomes.Awareness of underwriting principles, legal/liability knowledge, claims regulations, CPC compliance, and motor legislation.Methodical, structured approach with strong problem-solving skills.Excellent negotiation and decision-making abilities.Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.Flexible, proactive, and highly motivated team player.Excellent communication and telephone skills.BenefitsAnnual performance-related bonus.Hybrid work model.
