The Role
The AFC function plays a critical role in keeping Deutsche Bank’s operations and global financial services compliant with regulations, combating financial crime using advanced technologies like Java, Angular, Spring Boot, and others.
The role involves working a typical 8-hour day, with flexibility to cover shifts from 7am to 10pm (German Time), including occasional weekend work and on-call duties.
Key responsibilities:
* Experience with Java, microservice architecture, Angular.js/React.js, and database/SQL queries.
* Incident/problem management, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging.
* Ownership of production issues, collaborating with L2/Dev teams for solutions.
* Monitoring production alerts, implementing improvements, and maintaining documentation.
* Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud is advantageous.
Your Profile
Proven IT experience, application support skills, and expertise in technologies like Java, Spring, Spark, REST, Oracle, OpenShift, SCM tools, and SDLC tools.
Preferred experience in banking, especially KYC applications, with strong analytical and communication skills, fluency in English, and the ability to work in virtual and matrixed teams.
Good to have:
* Google Cloud experience.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills.
