Overview A leading organization undergoing a major digital transformation is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Manager to lead its cloud operations team. This strategic position will focus on managing and optimizing AWS infrastructure, modernizing support processes, and ensuring that cloud initiatives are effectively aligned with evolving business objectives. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of cloud engineers and DevOps professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Cloud Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of AWS environments, ensuring performance, scalability, security, and cost efficiency. Vendor Oversight: Manage third-party providers and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and operational expectations. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Project Management Office (PMO), QA, application development teams, and business stakeholders to support end-to-end cloud infrastructure needs. Process Optimization: Identify and implement automation opportunities and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reliability. Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain KPIs to monitor infrastructure performance, uptime, incident response, and cloud cost management. Required Qualifications Cloud Expertise: Proven experience managing large-scale AWS environments, with deep knowledge of core services such as EC2, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, S3, and IAM. Leadership: 5+ years of experience leading infrastructure or cloud operations teams, including remote/offshore personnel. Project & Risk Management: Proficient in managing complex projects, identifying risks, and developing mitigation strategies. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a knack for translating technical topics into business-relevant language. Innovation-Driven: Passion for leveraging modern tools and practices (e.g., Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, DevSecOps) to streamline cloud operations.
