Business Intelligence Analyst (Aerospace)
Location: Galway, Ireland (Hybrid)
Salary: 90-95K (DOE) + benefits
About the Role
Hiring on behalf of a high growth advanced technology organisation operating in satellite and optical communications. This role sits at the centre of decision making, providing data driven insight across bids, programmes, finance, operations, and R and D. You will enable leadership to make faster, smarter calls while supporting the delivery of complex, mission critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse and consolidate data from sales, planning, finance, operations, and R and D systems
* Deliver decision grade reports, dashboards, and visualisations for senior stakeholders
* Partner with PMO, Finance, Operations, and Engineering to standardise data collection and reporting
* Build and maintain a centralised BI data repository
* Support automation of data collection, integration, and aggregation
* Communicate insights clearly via dashboards, written reports, and presentations
* Maintain project standards, forecasts, and change records within the PMO repository
* Identify opportunities to improve how data is captured, governed, and used across the business
Requirements
* 5 plus years' experience in a BI, data analysis, or reporting role
* Strong experience with BI and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Python, or R
* Proven ability to turn complex datasets into clear business insights
* Experience working with project, financial, or resource management systems
* Excellent stakeholder communication and cross functional collaboration skills
* Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking capability
* Ability to understand and work within technically complex environments
Desirable
* Third level qualification in data analytics or related discipline
* Experience in telecommunications, space, advanced manufacturing, or regulated technology environments
* Exposure to R and D led organisations
Nice to Have
* Familiarity with aerospace or space industry standards
* Experience working in fast paced, high tech environments
* Interest in satellite systems or advanced communications technologies
