About the Opportunity
Rayco Group is expanding our electrical division to support multiple new housing developments and modular home projects in Wexford.
We are now hiring Junior Electricians, Electrical Graduates, and Apprentice Electricians (all stages) to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career with a fast-growing construction and modular manufacturing company.
You will be trained, mentored, and given hands-on experience across all stages of residential and modular electrical installations.
Roles Available
Junior Electrician (1–3 years' experience)
Ideal for those who have some site experience and want to progress quickly.
Electrical Graduate (Certificate/Diploma/Degree)
Perfect for recent graduates seeking practical site experience and a route toward becoming fully qualified.
Apprentice Electrician (Stage 1–4)
We welcome apprentices at any stage who want consistent work, strong mentorship, and exposure to modern construction systems.
Key Responsibilities (depending on level)
Assist with first fix and second fix installations on new homes and modular units.
Install sockets, lighting, cabling, heating controls, and other electrical components.
Support testing, verification, and commissioning works.
Learn and apply IS***** wiring regulations.
Work under supervision of a qualified electrician or foreman.
Maintain safe working practices and tidy work areas.
Complete documentation, reports, and certs (with support).
What We're Looking For
Interest in electrical work and long-term career progression.
Safe Pass (or willingness to obtain it).
Manual Handling (or willingness to obtain it).
Strong work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to learn.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Full driving licence is an advantage but not essential.
Salary & Package
Junior Electrician: €35,000 – €42,000 DOE
Electrical Graduate: €30,000 – €38,000 DOE
Apprentice Electrician (Stage 1–4): €450 – €800 per week (depending on stage & experience)
